Finnish Masterbrewers’ Association

The Finnish Master Brewers’ Association has aimed to promote expertise and knowledge exchange within the brewing and malt industry since its establishment in 1934.

In its early years, the association focused on disseminating brewing industry knowledge and exerting influence regarding the then-existing liquor laws. Presently, it does not directly engage in alcohol policy discussions but seeks to highlight the positive aspects of beer and the diverse beer culture.

The association’s activities include annual spring and autumn meetings where members exchange ideas, network with partners, and conduct seminars on current topics. Additionally, the association participates in organizing training courses for brewery personnel.

Over the years, the Master Brewers’ Association has expanded its scope by involving small breweries, enabling a broader exchange of ideas among a larger group of industry professionals.
